The existing house had narrow passages and small rooms including the kitchen. In addition, the garden was large. What was particularly needed was a large master bedroom and  a spacious kitchen/living area with a manageable landscaped garden. This was achieved by designing around the above requirements and at the same time maximising the narrow site to the side of the old house.

We were facing mobility issues and our existing house was proving unsuitable for our needs. We thought we would have to move but Sylvester Nolan Draftech designed a gem of a house for us right next to the existing house which we were then able to sell.
